My little one playing with his wooden sword when an “fought” Stinging Nettle. He broke make stems and it was shocking to see the difference. His imagination is very full but it is our job as parents to guide them. He ended up apologizing to Nettle and after a moment of sitting on my lap, off he went to play again.

I went out to harvest the damaged parts to dry for the apothecary. I didn’t even need to dry them though as we ended up putting them in our bone broth that day.

As I was harvesting that day, despite normally avoiding the sting, I was getting hit left and right. Stings go away so rather than reach for a remedy, I let them be. Turns out, they had a message for me.
